New Land Purchase Rule Launched

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama asserted, starting now, the purchase of land should be done in a non-cash and transferred to the land owner. This is because there are still found various problems in its purchase.

Almost land purchase is problematic. We still find land purchase. That's why I make new regulations. Transfer must be straight to the landowner

"Almost land purchase is problematic. We still find land purchase. That's why I make new rules. Transfer must be straight to the landowner," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (6/13).

After the regulation is imposed, land purchase becomes slow. The problem is mostly found in Housing and Government Building Dept and Park and Cemetery Dept. Nevertheless, he still has difficulties to prove the practice. "The prove is still difficult to find but we can still see the clues," he expressed.

He added, all this time, land purchase is always through the broker. With the regulation, it can be eliminated. But almost all land procurement cannot be realized.

"All can run smoothly if we use broker service, despite the document is still not enough," he finished.
